Description

The gold dangle belly ring is for a healed navel that wants to be noticed: a warm yellow-gold curved bar, a small prong-set stone on top and cubic zirconia that catches the light with every step. A dangle belly button ring for summer, the beach or a night out — the full belly button piercing collection has more styles.

The gold is a PVD finish on ASTM F136 titanium (grade 23): the colour is bonded by vacuum deposition onto an implant-grade, nickel-free base, so you get the glow of gold with the comfort of titanium against the skin. Prefer a cooler, more understated look? See the titanium dangle belly ring.

Yellow gold warms up every skin tone and looks especially good on a tan, while the clear stones add contrast and sparkle. The 14G bar is internally threaded, so only a smooth surface slides through when you change jewellery.

Cascade or Teardrop: two ways to shine

Cascade sets a larger bezel-set round stone at the navel, framed in gold, with two small round stones falling below: bold and graphic. Teardrop pairs a prong-set round stone with a small round stone and a pear-shaped drop: the classic drop belly ring, delicate and feminine. All stones are cubic zirconia (CZ).

10 mm or 12 mm: picking the length

The curved bar is 14G (1.6 mm), the usual navel gauge. Take 10 mm, the standard length, if your current jewellery fits well; go for 12 mm if you want a little more room, for a deeper navel or high-waisted outfits. The right length lets the charm hang straight instead of tilting. Unsure? Check our gauge and size guide. Fancy a different dangle for your healed navel? See our butterfly belly button ring.

Frequently asked questions about the gold dangle belly ring

  • Is it real gold? It is a gold PVD finish on implant-grade titanium, not gold throughout. That is what keeps it nickel-free, light and comfortable for long wear.
  • Can I wear it on a fresh piercing? No — a dangle is for a fully healed navel. Once healed, you can also alternate with a hoop like our titanium belly ring.
  • Can I wear it at the beach? Yes. Rinse it with clean water after the sea or the pool and pat it dry to keep the shine.

Putting in your barbell

One end stays on the bar, the other comes off: that's the one you remove and refit.

1

Remove one end

Unscrew the ball or top (or pull it straight off if it's a push-pin end).

2

Bar through

Slide the bar through the piercing, following its angle, without forcing.

3

Refit the end

Screw or press the end back on until it is snug. Check it now and then, as ends can loosen.

Do it over a towel or a closed sink so the end can't get lost. On a fresh piercing, have your piercer fit it.

Will the gold colour last?
The PVD finish is bonded to the titanium. Avoid abrasive products and harsh chemicals, wipe it with a soft cloth and it keeps its warm tone.
Which style sparkles more?
Cascade has the larger stone, set in a gold bezel, for a bolder look. Teardrop is finer, with a pear-shaped drop that moves more freely.
Is it suitable if I react to some jewellery?
The base is implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium, nickel-free and hypoallergenic, the same material as our titanium version.
Does it go with other gold jewellery?
Yes. The warm yellow gold tone matches our other gold PVD pieces, so you can build a coordinated look.
