Description

The gold nipple ring brings warm light to a healed piercing: a hinged nipple clicker with a straight bar on top and a half-moon arc lined with clear crystals, in a soft yellow-gold tone. See every style for this placement in our nipple piercing collection.

The gold is a PVD finish on ASTM F136 titanium (G23), not gold-plated brass. Underneath sits the same nickel-free, implant-grade titanium as the silver version; on the surface, a thin layer of gold colour bonded to the metal by physical vapour deposition. The glow of gold, on a base metal chosen for sensitive skin. Prefer a silver tone? See the titanium nipple ring.

This version comes in one style: Round crystal. A neat row of round cubic zirconia follows the curve of the arc, each stone held in a small prong setting so it catches the light as you move. Gold and clear stones together look polished rather than flashy — lovely on its own or alongside other gold pieces.

Gold nipple rings for a healed piercing

A ring like this is a finishing touch, not a first jewel. Your piercer fits the initial jewellery — typically a straight barbell such as our titanium nipple barbell — and you move to a ring once the piercing has fully healed. From then on the hinge keeps changes simple: open the bar, slide it through, click it shut.

Size and fit

It comes in one size: 14G (1.6 mm) thick, with a 14 mm bar — the inner width between its two ends. Compare it with the jewellery you wear now; if your gauge or bar length is different, ask your piercer before switching. Our gauge and size guide explains how to measure.

Gold nipple ring: quick answers

  • Is it real gold? It is G23 titanium with a gold PVD finish. The core stays nickel-free, implant-grade titanium; the surface carries the gold tone.
  • Will the gold colour fade? PVD is bonded to the titanium rather than painted on, so it is made for everyday wear. Skip abrasive cloths and harsh products to keep the finish at its best.
  • Does it match my other gold jewellery? Yes — its warm yellow-gold tone sits nicely with your other gold piercings.

The glow of gold, on titanium.

Gold brings warmth to a healed nipple piercing, but the metal underneath matters just as much. This ring is ASTM F136 titanium (G23) with a gold PVD finish: nickel-free and made for sensitive skin. A row of round crystals and a hinged bar that clicks shut finish it.

Putting in your clicker hoop

No tiny parts to lose: the hoop opens on a hinge and closes with a click.

1

Open the hinge

Hold the hoop and gently swing the hinged segment open. Never twist or pull the ring apart.

2

Thread it through

Slide the open end through the piercing, following the angle of the hole.

3

Click it shut

Press the segment back until you hear and feel the click. Give it a light tug to check.

Open and close it over a towel or a closed sink. On a fresh piercing, have your piercer fit it.

What is gold PVD?
PVD (physical vapour deposition) bonds a thin layer of gold colour to the titanium surface. Here it gives a warm yellow-gold tone over nickel-free G23 titanium.
Can I wear a gold nipple ring on sensitive skin?
This one is built on implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium, which is nickel-free. That makes it a gentle choice for skin that reacts to costume jewellery.
When can I switch to a gold ring?
Once your nipple piercing is fully healed. Until then, keep the jewellery your piercer fitted, and ask them if you are unsure.
What size is it?
14G (1.6 mm) thick, with a 14 mm bar measured as the inner width between its two ends.
