Description

The gold nipple barbell with flowers brings warm light to a healed piercing: a straight bar with a clear crystal flower at each end, in a soft yellow-gold tone. See every style for this placement in our nipple piercing collection.

The gold is a PVD finish on ASTM F136 titanium (G23), not gold-plated brass. Underneath sits the same nickel-free, implant-grade titanium as the silver version; on the surface, a thin layer of gold colour bonded to the metal by physical vapour deposition. Prefer a silver tone? See the titanium flower nipple barbell.

Each flower pairs a round centre stone with a ring of petal stones in clear cubic zirconia. Against the gold, the stones look bright but never flashy — a refined piece of nipple piercing jewelry that sits nicely alongside your other gold pieces.

Threadless ends, easy to change

Each flower sits on a fine pin that pushes into the hollow bar and stays put by tension — no thread to turn, nothing to screw through the piercing. That makes it simple to swap ends once your piercing has settled. Our guide to internally threaded vs threadless jewellery compares the two systems.

Length and fit

It is 14G (1.6 mm) thick, with a choice of 12 mm or 14 mm bar length. Match the bar you wear now: the first jewellery, chosen by your piercer, is often longer to allow for swelling, so ask them before going shorter. Looking for a hoop instead of a bar? See the hinged titanium nipple ring.

Gold flower nipple barbell: quick answers

  • Is it real gold? It is G23 titanium with a gold PVD finish. The core stays nickel-free, implant-grade titanium; the surface carries the gold tone.
  • Will the gold colour fade? PVD is bonded to the titanium rather than painted on, so it is made for everyday wear. Skip abrasive cloths and harsh products to keep the finish at its best.
  • Is it a flower nipple ring? It is a straight barbell rather than a hoop, with a flower on each side of the piercing — the same floral look, on a bar.

The glow of gold, in bloom.

Gold brings warmth to a healed nipple piercing, but the metal underneath matters just as much. This barbell is ASTM F136 titanium (G23) with a gold PVD finish: nickel-free and kind to skin. Two crystal flowers and threadless ends complete it.

Putting in your barbell

One end stays on the bar, the other comes off: that's the one you remove and refit.

1

Remove one end

Unscrew the ball or top (or pull it straight off if it's a push-pin end).

2

Bar through

Slide the bar through the piercing, following its angle, without forcing.

3

Refit the end

Screw or press the end back on until it is snug. Check it now and then, as ends can loosen.

Do it over a towel or a closed sink so the end can't get lost. On a fresh piercing, have your piercer fit it.

What is gold PVD?
PVD (physical vapour deposition) bonds a thin layer of gold colour to the titanium surface. Here it gives a warm yellow-gold tone over nickel-free G23 titanium.
When can I switch to a gold barbell?
Once your nipple piercing is fully healed. Until then, keep the jewellery your piercer fitted, and ask them if you are unsure.
Does it match my other gold piercings?
Yes — its warm yellow-gold tone sits well with other gold jewellery, and the clear stones keep it light.
How do I keep the finish looking its best?
Rinse it with saline or mild soap and water and pat it dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths, polishes and harsh chemicals.
