The titanium butterfly belly button ring brings a touch of lightness to a healed navel: a curved 14G bar in implant-grade titanium, a small prong-set crystal on top and, below, a butterfly with marquise-cut wings and a teardrop that sways as you move. A dangle belly button ring with a delicate motif, to wear alongside the other styles in our belly button piercing collection.
It is machined from ASTM F136 titanium (grade 23): nickel-free, light and corrosion-resistant, mirror-polished in a cool silver tone that keeps the look clean and understated. If your skin reacts to ordinary metals, this is the material piercers recommend. Prefer a warmer glow? See the gold butterfly belly ring.
The bar is internally threaded: the thread sits inside the bar rather than on it, so only a smooth surface passes through the piercing. The top crystal screws in snugly and the butterfly hangs freely just below the navel.
A butterfly, set stone by stone
Each wing is made of marquise-cut clear cubic zirconia (CZ), the pointed oval shape that draws the butterfly's outline, and a clear teardrop dangles beneath it. On titanium, the clear stones and silver tone stay fresh and discreet, easy to wear every day. Prefer a charm without a motif? Try our titanium dangle belly ring.
10 mm or 12 mm: choosing your bar length
The curved bar is 14G (1.6 mm), the standard navel gauge, in two lengths: 10 mm, the usual fit for most navels, or 12 mm for a little more room on a deeper navel. If your current bar sits well, simply match its length. Not sure how to measure? Our gauge and size guide walks you through it.
Frequently asked questions about the titanium butterfly belly ring
-
Can I wear it on a new navel piercing? No. It is made for a fully healed navel: the butterfly moves and can catch while the piercing is still healing. Until then, keep the jewellery your piercer fitted.
-
How do I put it in? Wash your hands, unscrew the top crystal, slide the bar up through the navel from below, then screw the top back on until snug.
-
Is titanium a good choice for sensitive skin? Yes. ASTM F136 titanium is nickel-free and hypoallergenic, the gentlest option if ordinary metals irritate your navel.
