Description

The titanium dangle belly ring adds movement to a healed navel without asking anything of your skin: a curved 14G barbell in implant-grade titanium, a small prong-set stone on top and cubic zirconia that swings gently below. A dangly belly button ring made for everyday wear, it joins the plainer styles in our belly button piercing collection.

It is machined from ASTM F136 titanium (grade 23): nickel-free, light and corrosion-resistant, in a polished silver tone that stays understated against the skin. If your navel reacts to ordinary metals, this is the material piercers recommend. Want a warmer shine? See the gold dangle belly ring.

The bar is internally threaded: the thread sits inside the bar rather than on it, so only a smooth surface passes through the piercing when you put it in. The top screws in snugly and the charm hangs freely at the navel.

Cascade or Teardrop: which style to choose

Cascade pairs a larger bezel-set round stone at the navel with two small round stones dangling below, for a clean vertical line. Teardrop sets a prong-set round stone at the navel, then a small round stone and a pear-shaped drop: a softer, more romantic drop belly ring. All stones are cubic zirconia (CZ).

Choosing your bar length

Both styles use a 14G (1.6 mm) curved bar, the usual navel gauge, in two lengths: 10 mm, the standard fit for most navels, or 12 mm for a little more room, handy on a deeper navel or when you sit a lot. If your current jewellery fits well, simply match its length. Not sure? Our gauge and size guide shows how to measure. Fancy a different dangle for your healed navel? See our butterfly belly button ring.

Frequently asked questions about the titanium dangle belly ring

  • Can I wear it on a new piercing? It is designed for a fully healed navel: the dangling charm moves and can catch while the piercing is still healing. Until then, keep the jewellery your piercer fitted or a plain titanium belly bar.
  • How do I put it in? Unscrew the small top stone, slide the bar up through the navel from below, then screw the top back on until snug. Wash your hands first.
  • Is a dangle belly button ring heavier to wear? It has more presence than a plain bar, but titanium is a light metal, so the charm sits comfortably for everyday wear.

Sparkle at the navel, gentle on sensitive skin.

The navel is a spot that rubs against waistbands all day, so the metal matters. This dangle belly ring is implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium (G23): nickel-free, light and hypoallergenic, with an internally threaded bar that passes through smoothly — all the movement of a charm, none of the irritation.

Putting in your barbell

One end stays on the bar, the other comes off: that's the one you remove and refit.

1

Remove one end

Unscrew the ball or top (or pull it straight off if it's a push-pin end).

2

Bar through

Slide the bar through the piercing, following its angle, without forcing.

3

Refit the end

Screw or press the end back on until it is snug. Check it now and then, as ends can loosen.

Do it over a towel or a closed sink so the end can't get lost. On a fresh piercing, have your piercer fit it.

Is titanium a good choice for a sensitive navel?
Yes. Implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium is nickel-free and biocompatible, the gentlest option if your skin reacts to ordinary metals.
What is the difference between Cascade and Teardrop?
Cascade has a larger bezel-set round stone with two small round stones dangling below. Teardrop has a prong-set round stone, then a small round stone and a pear-shaped drop.
Should I choose 10 mm or 12 mm?
10 mm is the standard length for most navels. Choose 12 mm if your navel is deeper or your current bar feels tight.
When can I switch to a dangle style?
Only once your navel is fully healed. Your piercer can confirm it; until then, stick with simple jewellery that does not move.
Are the stones real gemstones?
They are cubic zirconia (CZ), a hard, brilliant crystal that gives the charm its sparkle.
