Description

The gold cluster daith ring brings a warm glow to the inner ear: a hinged hoop whose lower front is set with clusters of clear crystals, like a row of tiny flowers, above a smooth golden band. Made for a healed daith piercing, it is the piece you choose when you want your daith to be seen.

Under the shine is implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium (G23) with a gold PVD finish — a nickel-free titanium core with a golden surface, not plated brass. Warm gold and clear cubic zirconia together give a soft, candlelit sparkle that flatters every skin tone. Prefer a cooler, quieter look? See the titanium cluster daith ring.

The hinge hides in the plain upper half: open it, slide the ring through and press until it clicks. The clusters stay at the front, where the light finds them. Prefer a fine line of stones all the way round? See our pavé seamless ring.

How to style a gold daith earring

A gold daith hoop with a cluster front is a natural anchor for a curated ear: let it hold the centre, then add small studs in the lobe or a fine hoop in the helix. Gold and silver tones mix well too, so it sits happily beside the titanium pieces you already wear.

Choosing your diameter

The ring is 16G (1.2 mm) thick, in two inner diameters: 8 mm for a close, hugging fit and 10 mm for most daiths or a slightly looser drape. Once healed, it also works in a helix, conch or septum. Keep the gauge your piercer chose. Prefer crystals radiating outward like sun rays? See our sunburst clicker.

Frequently asked questions about the gold cluster daith ring

  • Is it for a new piercing? We recommend it for a healed daith. Your first jewellery is fitted by your piercer; switch to the gold ring once healing is complete.
  • Will it ease my migraines? No jewellery can promise that: there is no scientific evidence that a daith piercing relieves migraines. Our daith and migraine guide sums up what is really known.
  • Does the gold match my other jewellery? The gold PVD finish has a warm yellow-gold tone that pairs well with other gold pieces, and mixes nicely with silver tones for a two-tone ear.

Golden glow, titanium underneath.

You get the warmth of gold without giving up a skin-friendly core: this ring is implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium (G23) under a gold PVD finish, nickel-free. Its crystal-cluster front is made to be noticed, and the hinge clicks shut in seconds once your daith has healed.

Putting in your clicker hoop

No tiny parts to lose: the hoop opens on a hinge and closes with a click.

1

Open the hinge

Hold the hoop and gently swing the hinged segment open. Never twist or pull the ring apart.

2

Thread it through

Slide the open end through the piercing, following the angle of the hole.

3

Click it shut

Press the segment back until you hear and feel the click. Give it a light tug to check.

Open and close it over a towel or a closed sink. On a fresh piercing, have your piercer fit it.

Will the gold finish wear off?
PVD is a thin, hard coating bonded to the titanium, more resistant than classic plating. Gentle cleaning and no abrasive products keep it bright.
Is it real gold?
No. It is implant-grade titanium G23 with a gold PVD finish — nickel-free, never plated brass.
Are the stones real gemstones?
They are cubic zirconia (CZ), a clear, bright crystal — not a diamond. Each one is prong-set into its cluster.
Which diameter should I pick?
10 mm suits most daiths with a slightly looser look; 8 mm gives a snug fit that hugs the cartilage.
