A warm gold clicker on implant-grade titanium G23, its crystals fanning out like sun rays — made to glow in a healed piercing.

Description

The gold sunburst clicker is a warm, radiant hoop: tiny clear crystals fan out from its finely ribbed golden band like the rays of a setting sun, across the lower two-thirds, while the top stays smooth around the hinge. For a healed daith piercing or septum piercing, it is the clicker ring you wear to be noticed.

Beneath the glow is a titanium clicker hoop in implant-grade ASTM F136 (G23) with a gold PVD finish — a nickel-free titanium core with a golden surface, not plated brass. Warm gold and clear cubic zirconia give a sunlit sparkle that flatters every skin tone. Prefer a cooler, quieter look? See the titanium sunburst clicker.

Open the hinge, guide the ring through and press until it clicks: the rays settle at the front, where the light finds them. Love a fuller front? See our cluster daith ring, with groups of crystals set on the band.

How to style a gold crystal hoop earring

As a daith clicker, it becomes the bright centre of a curated ear: pair it with small studs in the lobe and a fine hoop in the helix. In the septum, the golden rays read like a little sun just below the nose. Gold and silver tones mix well, so it sits happily beside the titanium pieces you already wear.

Choosing your diameter

The ring is 16G (1.2 mm) thick, in two inner diameters: 8 mm for a close, hugging fit and 10 mm for most daiths or a looser drape that shows more of the rays. Keep the gauge your piercer chose.

Frequently asked questions about the gold sunburst clicker

  • Is it for a new piercing? We recommend it for healed skin. Your first jewellery is fitted by your piercer; switch to the gold ring once healing is complete.
  • Does the gold match my other jewellery? The gold PVD finish has a warm yellow-gold tone that pairs with other gold pieces and mixes nicely with silver tones for a two-tone look.
  • Does it work in a septum? Yes, once healed: 8 mm sits close to the nose, while 10 mm lets the sunburst show a little more.
Material and care

  • Material: implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium (G23) with gold PVD finish
  • Nickel-free — hypoallergenic
  • Style: hinged clicker hoop, finely ribbed band, smooth top near the hinge
  • Stones: small prong-set round clear cubic zirconia (CZ) radiating outward on the lower two-thirds
  • Gauge: 16G (1.2 mm)
  • Inner diameter: 8 or 10 mm
  • Placements: healed daith or septum; also helix or conch

Care: rinse with sterile saline and pat dry, skip harsh or abrasive products to protect the gold finish, and open the hinge with clean hands. See our aftercare guide.

Golden rays, titanium underneath.

You get the warmth of gold without giving up a skin-friendly core: implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium (G23) under a gold PVD finish, nickel-free. Its sunburst of crystals is made to be noticed, and the hinge clicks shut in seconds once you are healed.

Putting in your clicker hoop

No tiny parts to lose: the hoop opens on a hinge and closes with a click.

1

Open the hinge

Hold the hoop and gently swing the hinged segment open. Never twist or pull the ring apart.

2

Thread it through

Slide the open end through the piercing, following the angle of the hole.

3

Click it shut

Press the segment back until you hear and feel the click. Give it a light tug to check.

Open and close it over a towel or a closed sink. On a fresh piercing, have your piercer fit it.

Will the gold finish wear off?
PVD is a thin, hard coating bonded to the titanium, more resistant than classic plating. Gentle cleaning and no abrasive products keep it bright.
Is it real gold?
No. It is implant-grade titanium G23 with a gold PVD finish — nickel-free, never plated brass.
Are the stones real gemstones?
They are cubic zirconia (CZ), a clear, bright crystal — not a diamond. Each one is prong-set on the ribbed band.
Which diameter should I pick for a daith?
10 mm suits most daiths with a slightly looser look; 8 mm gives a snug fit that hugs the cartilage.
Can I sleep in it?
Many people do once healed, as the hinge stays closed. If it presses on your pillow, take it out at night with clean hands.
