Description

The gold spike eyebrow ring takes an edgy shape and makes it glow: a slim spike curved barbell in warm yellow gold, with a pointed 3 mm cone at each end that catches the light every time you turn your head. It's eyebrow piercing jewelry with a rock-meets-glam attitude, made for a healed brow that's ready to stand out.

Under the colour is the same ASTM F136 titanium (G23) as our silver-tone version, finished with gold PVD: nickel-free, light, and never gold-plated brass. Gold softens the spikes just enough — sharp outline, warm tone. Prefer the raw metal look? See the titanium spike eyebrow ring, or browse our full eyebrow piercing collection.

It's made for a healed piercing. The 16G (1.2 mm) bar has externally threaded spikes that unscrew: the thread sits on the bar ends and passes through the piercing on insertion, which a healed channel takes in its stride. Once healed, the same curve also works in a rook or a snug. Want a softer gold line instead? Our titanium eyebrow barbell keeps two round balls.

Choosing your length

6 mm sets the gold points right against a shallow healed piercing for a crisp, sculpted line. 8 mm is the most common healed fit. 10 mm suits a deeper placement or a rook. Easiest way to choose: measure the curved bar you wear now, between the ends. Our gauge and size guide walks you through it.

Gold spike eyebrow ring: your questions

  • Can I wear it straight after piercing? No — your first jewellery is fitted by your piercer, and an externally threaded, gold-finish bar is for a healed piercing. Heal in plain titanium first.
  • Will the gold wear off the points? PVD is bonded to the titanium rather than painted on. To keep the spikes bright, clean with saline and skip abrasive products or metal polishes.
  • Does it sparkle? There are no stones: the shine comes from the polished gold cones themselves, for a clean, graphic look.
Material and care

  • Material: implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium (G23)
  • Finish: gold PVD, warm yellow-gold tone
  • Nickel-free — not gold-plated brass
  • Style: curved barbell (banana bar) with spike ends
  • Ends: two 3 mm pointed spikes (cones), externally threaded, that unscrew, no stones
  • Gauge: 16G (1.2 mm)
  • Length: 6, 8 or 10 mm
  • For healed piercings: eyebrow, rook or snug

Care: rinse with sterile saline, pat dry and avoid harsh cleaners that could dull the gold finish. See our aftercare guide.

Sharp outline, warm glow.

Gold spikes give your brow an outline that's both bold and polished. Underneath is the base piercers trust — ASTM F136 titanium (G23), nickel-free — finished in gold PVD, never gold-plated brass. Three lengths let you go from a tight, sculpted fit to a deeper placement once your piercing has healed.

Putting in your barbell

One end stays on the bar, the other comes off: that's the one you remove and refit.

1

Remove one end

Unscrew the ball or top (or pull it straight off if it's a push-pin end).

2

Bar through

Slide the bar through the piercing, following its angle, without forcing.

3

Refit the end

Screw or press the end back on until it is snug. Check it now and then, as ends can loosen.

Do it over a towel or a closed sink so the end can't get lost. On a fresh piercing, have your piercer fit it.

Is the gold real?
It's a gold PVD finish on ASTM F136 titanium (G23): the warm colour of gold on a nickel-free base made for piercings, not gold-plated brass.
Does gold make the spikes look less aggressive?
A little. The silhouette stays sharp, but the warm tone reads more glam than punk — a good choice if you want an edgy brow that still looks polished.
Can I wear it in a snug or a rook?
Yes, in a healed piercing: the curved bar suits both. 8 mm or 10 mm usually fits a rook; a snug depends on your anatomy, so measure first.
Does it go with silver-tone jewellery?
Yes. A gold spike on the brow with silver-tone titanium in the ears or nose is a deliberate mixed-metal look that works well.
